Your future environment, your next missions

You will join the TDP "Technology & Design Platform" department in the "PDK Devices Enablement Extraction and Comparison" team, composed of about fifteen people.

The missions that await you

The PDK (Process Design Kit) is the key product used during all phases of the microelectronics design flow. Adapted to different technologies, an evolving PDK is designed by collaborative and multidisciplinary teams. In our future collaboration, you will be at the heart of the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model within the "Layout vs Schematic and Parasitic Extraction (LVS/PEX)" competency center at STMicroelectronics.

You will participate in the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model for LVS code generation.

The desired duration of this internship is 3 years. The learning will be progressive and staggered over the 3 years as follows:

- 1st year:

• Familiarization with the Process Design Kit environment and with the development and validation tools.
• Training on the SVRF language.
• Collaborate with technical team experts to explore the different AI solutions that could be used in the project.

2nd year:

• Design and develop the artificial intelligence model.
• Implement and qualify the chosen solution.

3rd year:

• Deploy the artificial intelligence model.
• Document the use and maintenance of the solution.

Multiple interactions

You will be integrated into a multicultural team shared between Crolles (near Grenoble) and Noida (India): a good command of English and good interpersonal skills are therefore indispensable.

Profile

• Student in computer science or a similar field.
• Mastery of Python programming.
• Mastery of the paradigm and tools of artificial intelligence and data science.
• Ability to be autonomous, rigorous, and to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Good communication skills and English proficiency.
