Closer Paralegal

Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal Closer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions and be proficient with Qualia or similar real estate closing software. They need someone who is proactive, organized, and personable.

• Prepare, review, and process all closing documents, including ALTA/CD settlement statements, deeds, and lender packages.

• Coordinate all aspects of closings with clients, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and internal teams.

• Order and analyze title commitments, surveys, payoffs, and insurance to ensure clear title and readiness to close.
  Manage the closing timeline, proactively resolving any issues that could delay completion.

• Maintain clear and timely communication with all parties involved in the transaction.

• Ensure timely disbursement of funds and proper execution and recording of documents.

• Support post-closing tasks such as issuing title policies, file reconciliation, and document follow-up.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate closings, ideally within a law firm or title company.

• Strong understanding of closing procedures, title documentation, and real estate legal processes.

• Proficiency in Qualia or similar closing platforms (Soft Pro, Ram Quest, Res Ware, etc.).

• Knowledge of lender-specific closing requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions and resolve minor title issues.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-first attitude.

• A positive, professional personality with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
