SUMMARY

Independently performs shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination activities in support of daily operations. Responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, tracking deliveries, supporting inventory movement, and ensuring compliance with domestic and international shipping requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, SAP system knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments and global teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Shipping & Receiving Operations
  • Coordinate and process inbound and outbound shipments from receipt through delivery
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect materials for accuracy and damage
  • Perform final shipment checks to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance prior to release
Logistics Coordination
  • Arrange and coordinate shipments including:
    • LTL (Less‑Than‑Truckload)
    • Small Parcel
    • Full Truckload Shipments
  • Track and trace shipments and proactively communicate delivery status updates
  • Update customer and supplier portals with shipment information and tracking details
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring import/export compliance
  • Work closely with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues
Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation including:
    • Bills of Lading
    • Delivery Notes
    • Commercial Invoices
    • Proforma Invoices
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and compliant with customer and contractual requirements
  • Support logistics audits and maintain proper shipping and receiving records
Systems & Reporting
  • Accurately enter and maintain data within SAP.
  • Maintain shipment logs, spreadsheets, reports, and inventory records
  • Analyze shipping data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Troubleshoot shipment discrepancies, delays, and system‑related issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or supply chain experience
  • SAP system experience required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping processes preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Willingness to step in and perform tasks during personnel shortages.
