The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) of Atlanta, GA is looking to hire a full-time or part-time EVS Attendant, Cleaner, Janitor, Custodian, or Porter in the Tunica, Mississippi area. Are you an energetic, get-it-done person who is looking for part-time or full-time work?

Our environmental services (EVS) division provides contract-based janitorial services in hospitality and public areas of commercial spaces. This commercial cleaning job earns $9.25 and up/hour for Day Shift, depending on experience. As EVS Attendants, Cleaners, Janitors, Custodians, and Porters, you are at the core of who we are as a company. You arrive for your shift, whether full-time or part-time, ready to get to work. You enjoy “getting in the zone” and working efficiently but are also friendly and service-oriented in all your interactions with guests and staff. Whether it’s dusting, vacuuming, mopping, pulling the trash, disinfecting surfaces, or replenishing supplies, you get great satisfaction out of checking each task off and being able to physically see what you’ve accomplished.

You are responsible for ensuring that your assigned restrooms and areas are always in compliance with our standards, and you also conduct regular walkarounds. You report maintenance repair problems to your supervisor and make sure that all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis.

• 21 years old or older
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and perform general janitorial tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, and being on your feet for an entire shift
• Customer service skills

Previous commercial cleaning or hospitality experience would be a plus! Are you fast, efficient, self‑motivated, and eager to do a good job? Do you have a positive, can‑do attitude? There are both full‑time and part‑time shifts available for the positions of EVS Attendant, Cleaner, Janitor, Custodian, or Porter.
