Mississippi Forestry Commission (MFC) has been a leader in the protection, management, and sustainability of the state's forests for 100 years. Vocational-level position accountable for performing inspections, making repairs, and performing scheduled maintenance of aircraft. Accountable for diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems, identifying repair procedures, and examining parts for defects and replacing them with new ones.

• Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 1-3 years of experience and possess an F.A.A. Airframe and Power plant Mechanics Certificate.
• Candidates must obtain an Inspection Authorization (IA) certification within 18 months of hire.

  Candidates must pass a walking fitness test and a pre-employment drug screening.
