The Branch Operations Manager will often be a player/coach responsible for leading a safe, high-performing, customer-focused team. The Branch Operations Manager will recruit, hire, train andretainservice technicians by working as a servantleaderwhileleveragingall Crane1's support resources. This is ademanding, 'hands-on',entrepreneurial position that requires a person with the ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of managementandoperationalactivities. It is a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Familiarity with managing operations in a service-based, industrial maintenance and repair business is important.
- Provides leadership in a safe work environment by functioning as the branch safety officer. Organize,document and report monthly safety meetings. Maintain and provide all safety-related documentation,according tocompany guidelines.
- Answers all service calls for breakdowns and service repairs.
- Provide oversight and direction with field resource allocation,manpowerand scheduling.
- Holds daily huddle with branch team to align on daily objectives to meet weekly/monthlygoals.
- Support sales to meet or beat growthobjectivesfor the branch.
- Maintains strong relationships with current customers by providing exceptional customer service.
- Train,support and mentor service technicians perform their daily job tasks.
- Responsible for the management of profit and lossof all jobs performed at the branch.
- Manages and approves all timecardssubmittedby technicians
- Employee Retention and Recruitment for the branch.
- Deliver financialobjectiveswith a focus on revenueandgross marginperformance.
- Engage withcustomersby effectively communicating with decision-makersregardingrepairing equipment and planning maintenance needs.
- Generateanddeliver repairquotesand parts generated by service calls.
- Foster a continuing, positive, trusting, and professional relationship with allcustomeraccounts.
Scheduling periodic customer site visits to helpmaintaina strong relationship. - Conducts site safety audits ensuring all safety procedures are being followed in the field.
- KNOWLEDGE:A minimum of (3) + years of
proven experience
or related
Branch Management experience that illustrates a proven track recordin this field is preferred. - SKILLS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (Sage
300& CRMis a plus) - Strong leadership skills with experience in managingsystems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
- Analytical mindset with the ability to drive process improvements
