Your Role
  • Set up and operate brake press machinery according to product plans and production schedules.
  • Measure, align, and position metal sheets and plates to form parts.
  • Read product drawings to determine proper angles and bends, using tools like a protractor to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols as outlined in the Warren Handbook.
  • Perform other duties as assigned while participating in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience operating a brake press machine.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow product drawings and specifications.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management.
  • Strong ability to monitor gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure machines are running properly.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work primarily in a shop environment that is not temperature‑controlled.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • Full‑time position requiring punctuality and readiness to work daily.
  • Business hours are determined by the manager, with mandatory overtime as needed.
