Fork Lift Operator

Position: FORK LIFT OPERATOR I
Location: Hazlehurst

Key Responsibilities Production Support:
Transport lumber and mats throughout the sawmill and warehouse, supplying production lines with necessary materials.

Loading/Unloading:
Accurately load and unload trailers with mats and timber, ensuring safe transport.

Organization:
Stack, bundle, and manage storage areas, keeping the yard organized.

Maintenance:
Perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts and report issues.

Safety:
Adhere to all OSHA guidelines, wear PPE, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Schedule:

Full-time, frequently night shifts, and often involves weekend availability.

Qualifications

Experience:

Previous forklift operation experience is required, with preference for sawmill or heavy industrial environments.

Shift/Workload:

Skills:

Strong attention to safety, the ability to operate in tight spaces, and basic, reliable attendance
