Composite Prototype Technician III, Vehicle Engineering, located in Iuka, MS.
Responsibilities- Composite material part layup and fabrication.
- Fabrication, layup, coating, and operations of CNC machines, ovens and autoclaves.
- Operate hand tools including drills, routers, and saws in high precision manufacturing processes including computer interface controls and light‑duty bench or floor type machine tools.
- Operate forklifts.
- Check work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to commencement of employment.
- Experience laying up and fabricating composite parts.
Primary level salary range: $59,400.00 – $99,000.00. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses. Northrop Grumman provides health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and PTO.
