Location: Iuka
Shift Options:
+ Shift A:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
+ Shift B:
Monday-Thursday, 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
+ Interpret and work from technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
+ Convert blueprint specifications into structural assemblies, including precision drilling, countersinking, and use of calibrated tools.
+ Align components using jigs, fixtures, and templates.
+ Perform assembly and fitting tasks such as filing, sawing, deburring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming.
+ Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
+ Modify both in-progress and completed assemblies to incorporate design updates and maintain quality standards.
+ Follow manufacturing systems, processes, and shop floor controls daily.
+ Adhere to safety protocols, including consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to production efficiency, equipment performance, and team productivity.
Basic Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in hydraulic systems, component assembly, or maintenance within aerospace, automotive, or military manufacturing environments.
+ Ability to perform physically demanding work, including bending, lifting (up to 35 lbs), kneeling, working overhead, and accessing confined spaces.
+ Ability to complete required ASTAR New Hire Training/Compliance within a defined timeframe.
+ Flexibility to work any assigned shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing.
+ Proficiency with measurement and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders, saws, micrometers, calipers).
+ Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical procedures.
+ Experience working from electronic or written work instructions.

This is a Contract position based out of Iuka, MS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
