Ferguson in Fulton, MS | Fabrication Technician | $22/hr

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Full Time, Direct Hire.

• Fabricate cut‑to‑length, finished‑end pipe for customer orders and stock inventory using carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, thermoplastic, and PVC across a wide range of pipe diameters.
• Cut, thread, bevel, groove, and weld specialized pipe materials.
• Perform precise machine setups and verify measurements to required tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and mechanical lifting equipment safely.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Use RF devices to locate, move, and stage material as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade/technical school or military experience preferred.
• 4–6 years machine operation experience—pipe cutting and threading preferred.
• 3–5 years forklift/MHE operation preferred.
• 2–4 years welding or pipe end finishing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, safety mindset, and team‑first attitude.
