MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of the Anel MIG-welding/tack test/sheet metal test
- A minimum of 1 year experience in fabrication welding
Job Description:
As a Fabrication Welder, you will perform a variety of tasks associated with fabrication welding, contributing to the production of high-quality components. This role involves completing training programs, adhering to safety protocols, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Complete Anel Basic Training (ABT): Participate in training sessions covering essential skills such as blueprint reading, measurements, and overhead crane operations.
- Safety First: Abide by the Anel Hazard Assessment Program, ensuring a safe work environment through proper equipment use and safety practices.
- Welding Operations: Perform welding according to specifications, utilizing various techniques such as arc gouging, plasma cutting, and heli-arc welding.
- Inspect and Document: Ensure all parts meet quality standards through inspection and documentation processes.
- Material Handling: Manage materials efficiently, ensuring proper tagging and verification of parts.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving processes and achieving cost-saving goals, while maintaining an organized work area (5S).
- Preventative Maintenance: Regularly check consumables and report maintenance issues to keep equipment running smoothly.
- Complete specialized training in tank fabrication, defect recognition, weld symbols, and more.
- Gain CWI-approved weld certification for tank fabrication.
