About This Job

As a Ready Mix Plant Manager, you lead all aspects of plant operations to ensure efficient production and delivery of high-quality ready‑mix concrete. You oversee minor equipment maintenance, and maintain a safe working environment while adhering to budgetary guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Your role is critical in driving operational excellence and meeting customer demands.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manages ready mix concrete production to meet customer specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Leads all plant management activities.
  • Ensures quality control standards are met through regular testing and inspections.
  • Oversees inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials.
  • Coordinates equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Implements and enforces safety management protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements

Preferred Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in ready mix concrete production or Construction.

Knowledge / Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of ready mix concrete production processes.
  • Proficiency in plant management principles and practices.
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures.
  • Excellent inventory management skills.
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills.
Physical Requirements / Work Conditions
  • Ability to work in a plant environment, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
