Performs quality checks of product and equipment

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

- Supervisor Initials - Team Member Initials

1. Performs net weights hourly on every product in the poultry processing facility

2. Completes necessary reports and forms to comply with all government regulations, customer specifications and company policy

3. Exhibit a high level of proficiency in assigned area, and possess working knowledge in all areas of the department.

4. Day shifts technicians perform pre-operational sanitation, including checking plant prior to production operations to ensure plant and equipment is clean in all areas

5. Know and comply with all written plant policies and procedures

6. Know and comply with the written specifications for packaging and labeling products

7. Physically inspect product for both natural occurring and processing defects

8. Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official such as product tampering, unauthorized employees in restricted area, and equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake.
