Operations Shift Lead – Production
As an Operations Shift Lead – Production (all genders) you are the heart of our production and warehouse operations. You lead a team of department heads, coordinate production plans, and ensure that quality and safety standards are always met. You always keep efficiency and productivity in mind and actively drive improvements.
You work closely with other shift leaders and cross-functional teams to optimize processes, achieve production goals, and keep our operations running smoothly. With your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement, you contribute significantly to the success of our company.
Your Responsibilities- Together with your shift team of department heads and supervisors, you ensure that our production goals in safety, quality, and efficiency are met.
- You motivate your team, create a positive work environment, and encourage everyone to provide feedback and actively participate in improvements.
- As the central contact person, you coordinate communication, escalations, and reporting – both internally and with the production management.
- You plan resources such as personnel, ingredients, and energy in a clever and sustainable way to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- You actively investigate production problems, implement measures, and successfully implement improvements.
- Together with your team, you ensure that hygiene, health, and environmental requirements are always met.
- Completed vocational training, master’s title, or degree in food technology, production technology, mechanical engineering, logistics, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in production and/or logistics, ideally in the food, beverage, or consumer goods industry.
- Experience in leading and motivating teams, e.g., team leader, supervisor, or shift leader.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards, occupational safety, hygiene regulations.
- Experience in shift planning, resource deployment, and process optimization.
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and conflict management.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
- Ability to handle stress and flexibility, especially shift and weekend work.
- Enthusiasm for continuous improvements and efficient production processes.
