**** Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our growing fabrication team. This hands‑on position is responsible for welding and assembling metal components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, interpreting shop drawings, and producing quality welds on a variety of ferrous and non‑ferrous metals. If you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you.

Pay: Competitive, Based on Experience

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding on steel and other metal components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
  • Assemble, tack, clamp, and fit parts prior to welding
  • Select proper welding equipment, wire, voltage, and settings
  • Produce strong, high‑quality welds that meet specifications
  • Operate hand tools, air tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of MIG welding experience or welding certification
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong measuring skills using tape measures, rulers, and scales
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes and welding techniques
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with structural or custom metal fabrication
  • Experience using grinders, saws, and fabrication equipment
  • Knowledge of weld quality inspection standards
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift and move materials throughout the shift
  • Stand, bend, kneel, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
  • Perform moderate to heavy physical work
  • Safely operate fabrication equipment and power tools
