Summary of Position
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for performing clerical and physical tasks in connection with cycle counting, storing parts, processing, shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Receive goods and materials in SAP system
- Prepare items for shipment in SAP system
- Issue purchase orders to the Supply Chain team
- Deliver parts and materials to factory floor and other designated areas
- Cycle Counting
- Receive and distribute parts from parts cage
- Maintains clean and orderly work area
High school diploma or equivalent plus at least two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Additional Skills Required- Strong work ethic
- Strong computer knowledge
- Excellent attendance and quality of work record
- Must be fork truck certified
- Working understanding of basic math
- Able to read tape measure
Primarily indoor work with exposure to outdoor conditions, temperature variations, noise, vibration, and mechanical and electrical hazards.
Physical DemandsWalking 50%, Sitting 45%, Standing 5%. Lifting up to 60lbs, pushing/pulling up to 200lbs with assistance. Medium strength level required.
QualificationsMust be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
