Atlas-SSI, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bucket Fab Shop Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our growing fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for growth and success while overseeing a team of fitters and welders. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring assembly standards, and conducting factory acceptance checklists and inspections.

The successful candidate will foster relationships with other departmental supervisors, engineers, and team members, exemplifying the collaborative spirit of our organization.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of a team of 6 to 10 fitters and welders.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules to meet customer-required shipping dates.
• Coordinate and manage project timelines in collaboration with other departments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Verify that all materials are prepared and staged in the shop prior to the commencement of projects.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, driving the success of the company’s Lean initiatives.
• Provide oversight and guidance to achieve rapid progress in the company’s Lean goals.
• Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager, Supply Chain, and Sales Departments to establish achievable production schedules.

• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.
• Welding knowledge and background is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of team leadership and employee development.
• Ability to drive accountability and positive behaviors within the department.
• Effectively communicate the connection between employees’ duties and the company’s mission and vision.
• Visionary thinking to facilitate growth and expansion within the team and the company.
• Energetic, action-oriented, and hands‑on approach to management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

10+ years of experience in fabrication or factory operations.

• 10‑hour shifts, Monday through Thursday.
• Weekend work rotation (Friday and Saturday as required).
