GWD Material Handler - Service

* Job Description:
*
* _The Material Handler - Shipping is responsible for facilitating the packaging and shipment of Service product._
** Duties and Responsibilities*
* + Follow battery regulations
+ Load skids as boxes and totes are labeled and ready to ship.
+ Assist with tote verification as needed
+ Practice 5S and safety
+ Ability to interact well with staff members at all levels
+ Take appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
+ Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned including working alternate shifts and weekends as needed
** Physical Demands*
* + Standing for long periods of time
+ Repetitive motion
+ Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
+ Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and containers
+ Able to work in various temperature conditions
*
* Education and Experience Requirements:
*
* + High School or GED diploma required.
+ Experience in shipping and receiving preferred
+ Basic computer skills required
+ Excellent communication skills
+ High level of attention to detail
