Kitter for Forming Dept
We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated Kitter with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring the resulting end product is made to exact specifications as designated by the customer, meets all quality tests and is delivered on time. As such, a unique blend of the following characteristics is a must:
- Use effective communication and organizational skills
- Have innate attention to detail
- An eye for good quality finish and desire to do quality work
- Must be able to work a shift of 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM - Mon
- Fri
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving, kitting, cycle counting, picking and packing
- Use computer to pull up part numbers and work orders
- Read, understand and match electronic component part numbers to work orders and vice versa
- Pick electronic components to be hand assembled and machine assembled, based upon work order
- Report inventory shortages and damaged materials
- Perform other related duties as instructed

Qualifications:
- Ability to correctly match electronic component part numbers to number listed on work orders printed on paper or on a computer screen
- Ability to correctly label bins or bags with identification information
- Proficient computer skills (data entry, web browsing)
- Experience with inventory management and material handling
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Satisfactorily pass in-company forklift certification program
- Cycle counting experience
- Strong ability to retain training
- Punctual and dependable attendance record
- Promotes teamwork in and around work area
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
