Laser Operator 2nd Shift
Anchor Fabrication MS Walnut - Walnut, MS 38683
OverviewSalary Range $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly
DescriptionAnchor Fabrication MS has immediate openings for highly motivated individuals with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading/unloading material
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment for compliance with safety requirements
- Corrects any safety issues prior to operating laser
- Inspects parts per work in process inspection procedure and ensures they meet engineering specifications
- Resolves quality and mechanical problems as needed
- Prioritizes production to ensure that customer orders are completed in a timely manner
- Maximizes machine run time and productivity
- Replaces nozzles and lens as required to ensure safe machine operation
- Works from blueprints, engineering specifications and production schedules

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Previous laser operator experience a plus
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
- Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to program machine to cut complex parts
- Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors and chemicals
