Scope:
The Inventory Control & Distribution Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt, labeling, stocking, and distribution of all incoming materials within the B3 Staging Area. This role serves as a critical link between incoming inventory and production operations by ensuring materials are properly processed, stored, and delivered in support of manufacturing schedules. The position requires the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and safety.
Cross-training in other areas within the Materials Department is expected.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately receives all material delivered to the B3 Staging Area
Distributes inventory to correct stocking area
Distributes inventory into factory orders or fills ticket request from manufacturing using the first in-first out procedures
Completes all cycle counts as assigned
Maintains all shelf-life materials
Maintains all ESD controls in the inventory and production areas
Maintains organization in the B3 Staging Area
Resolves problems as they arise
Maintains a clean and safe work area
Works effectively and responsibly with others
Fills ticket request from manufacturing using first in first out
Breaks down kits received from stockroom by operation for production floor
All other assigned duties as required within the materials organization
