Chemours is seeking a Lean Transformation Leader to join our growing Titanium Technologies (TT) team
. This position will be available at the DeLisle Plant located in Pass Christian, MS and reports directly to the Senior Value Stream Leader
.
The Lean Transformation Leader is a key site role responsible for leveraging the Chemours Business System to enhance employee engagement, drive the acceleration of continuous improvement in operational excellence (including safety and environmental) as well as delivering strategic site initiatives across the site manufacturing value streams. This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement with a lean mindset and experience using, and leading, the tools, systems, and methodologies.
The role partners closely with the Chemours Business System Team site leadership, cross-functional teams, other continuous improvement experts, and initiative owners to architect and execute improvement strategies, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and digitalization methodologies.
This is an excellent role for candidates interested in future senior operations leadership roles (e.g Operations Manager, Plant Manager). Candidates must be open to future relocation opportunities as part of the Plant Manager development pathway. Mobility is an important component of this role to support leadership growth and business needs across our plant network.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related technical field
- 10 years of manufacturing experience with 5 of those years implementing Lean methodologies
- Demonstrated experience leading Tier Daily Management, A3 problem solving, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events to improve operational performance.
- Technical & Analytical Capability:
Ability to analyze data, develop recommendations, present findings, and train others on Lean tools.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience working in PSM-regulated, high-hazard manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to identify waste, improve efficiency, and drive process optimization initiatives.
- Ability to think strategically, leverage data for decision-making, and support long-term business objectives.
- Experience partnering effectively across operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and other functions to achieve results.
