We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance operations at a well-established seating manufacturing facility in Bruce, Mississippi
.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity where you will oversee 3 Manufacturing Engineers and 6 Maintenance Technicians while partnering closely with operations, quality, supply chain, and other cross‑functional teams.

• Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Maintenance Technicians
• Oversee manufacturing engineering activities for a 240-person plant
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, productivity, and efficiency
• Manage capital projects, capital budgeting, and investment approvals
• Lead equipment installations, equipment run‑offs, and facility/plant layout improvements
• Identify manufacturing challenges and work directly with operators and plant leadership to develop solutions
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex manufacturing issues
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, sales, and operations
• Help maintain the plant's strong culture and exceptionally high employee retention

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology
  , or a related field
• 5+ years of manufacturing/operations experience
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing or leading technical teams
• Experience with capital projects, capital budgeting, or equipment investment
• Experience with plant or facility layout
• Strong problem-solving and critical‑thinking skills
• Ability to work directly with operators and technical teams on the manufacturing floor
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite in Bruce, Mississippi, Monday–Friday
