The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 85% in the production area (i.e. warm in summer, cool in winter). Hazards require the use of personal protective equipment (i.e. hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes).

Dry ice is extremely cold, and therefore requires that gloves be worn when directly handling dry ice. 15% office work to provide data entry.

• Loading & Packaging:
  Perform the daily loading, weighing, and packaging of dry ice products into various containers (blocks, pellets, slices) based on customer orders.
• Quality Assurance:
  Inspect all finished products to ensure they meet the company’s strict quality standards regarding weight, density, and packaging integrity.
• Equipment Operation:
  Operate production machinery and material handling equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Documentation:
  Accurate logging of production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.

Required Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age

• One (1) year experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• One (1) year of continuous forklift operation in a confined space.
• Able to read and write.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to understand and follow the direction of supervisors.
• On-call and shift work required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
