Position

Summary

The Manufacturing Trainer is responsible for onboarding, training, and developing manufacturing employees to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. This role delivers hands‑on training, facilitates new hire orientation, supports cross‑training initiatives, and partners with operations leadership to drive workforce readiness and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Byhalia, MS Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Deliver instructor‑led and hands‑on training to production employees, technicians, and support staff.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and job‑specific training programs.
  • Train employees on manufacturing processes, work instructions, quality requirements, safety procedures, and company systems.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide coaching, feedback, and retraining as needed.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, supervisors, managers, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, including Windows‑based operating systems and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including experience with Jabil systems and software applications.
  • Ability to create and maintain simple training materials, correspondence, and visual aids.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
  • Ability to apply common‑sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and train others effectively.
  • Ability to work in a standardized manufacturing environment with occasional process variations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret production and training performance metrics.
