Production Supervisor; 2nd shift Manufacturing

Schedule: Full-time, on-site, second shift

A rapidly expanding manufacturer of parts for the power grid is seeking a second shift Production Supervisor I to oversee production operations, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and drive continuous improvement. This role is key to maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency on the plant floor.

• Ensure customer requirements and expectations are accurately identified and met
• Ensure production operations meet or exceed customer requirements
• Provide training to support knowledge transfer of production processes and procedures, including in-process and final quality controls
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met and properly documented
• Direct, maintain, and enforce safety and quality programs for the production facility
• Maintain production metrics tracking Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvements
• Supervise a staff of production associates and hold them accountable to company policies and procedures
• Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems
• Review plant equipment and systems operation to minimize non-conforming parts, anticipate problems, and identify improvement opportunities
• Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations
  
  Evaluate root causes and implement corrective actions when metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, or Cost are not met
• Work with support groups to ensure resources are available to meet area requirements
• Communicate expectations clearly to team members

• 2-5+ years of related experience
• 2-5+ years working in a manufacturing facility

• Supervisor experience preferred
• Familiarity with MS Windows and Office environment is preferred
• SAP experience is preferred
