Manufacturing Production Operator

The Production Operator rotates through various roles within a laundry plant, primarily in Soil and Clean areas, to facilitate linen receiving, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and loading for delivery. The position involves operating diverse equipment, learning new skills within 2-5 days, and meeting quality and safety standards.

• Sort returned, soiled linens into appropriate categories and prepare for washing in Soil Operations.
• Operate and rotate through equipment such as sorting belts, carts, folding machines, and ironers in Clean Operations.
• Perform quality checks, identify damaged or stained linens, and remove non-compliant items.
• Ensure carts are cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for reuse; stack, fold, and handle linens efficiently.
• Assist with shipping tasks, including building carts, weighing, recording data, and loading trucks.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and operational standards; perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability to rotate across roles.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Basic computer skills and strong recordkeeping and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to learn and operate various production equipment.
