Production Technician

Role Overview: The Production Operator is responsible for supporting various stages of linen processing in a laundry plant, including receiving, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and loading linens for delivery. Employees rotate through different positions in Soil and Clean areas, learning and operating multiple equipment such as sorting belts, carts, folding machines, and ironers, with a focus on meeting quality and safety standards.

• Sort returned soiled linens, ensuring proper classification and sanitation.
• Operate and learn to troubleshoot production equipment, including sorting belts, folding stations, and ironers.
• Perform quality checks, removing stained or damaged items and ensuring proper stacking and loading.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of carts and equipment.
• Assist in building and loading linen carts, preparing them for shipment.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards consistently.
• Perform other duties as assigned, supporting team efforts and flexibility in job roles.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to rotate between multiple roles and adapt to changing production needs.
• Basic computer skills and good recordkeeping ability.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving carts and linens.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance.
