Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care in clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient as determined.
  • Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) to deliver excellent patient care and guidance as needed.
  • Perform responsibilities included in the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership; elevate concerns to management where appropriate.
  • Meet patient volume goals targeted for telehealth and in-patient as determined.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient-centrism, safety, cost, and accuracy.
  • Ensure provider activities comply with department expectations, and federal & state regulations, guidelines, and requirements including HIPAA.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both clinic and virtual settings.
  • Prioritize the queue of telehealth patients to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic test results, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment and chronic condition care.
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Perform duties within standard NP protocols.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training to meet quality of care standards.
  • Adhere to core company values: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees on their first day and facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and process overviews.
  • Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
  • Support new employee training through job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities.
  • Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with clients and employees, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified in physical demands.
  • Stay knowledgeable and comply with company standards of operation.
  • Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Preferred experience as a telehealth clinician.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • PRN employees are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month.
  • Full-time employees are required to work twelve-hour shifts and every other weekend.
Ancillary Provider Responsibilities
  • Be on call periodically throughout the year.
Provider Level Requirements
  • Level 1:
    New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner.
  • Level 2:
    Nurse practitioner with over 1 year of experience and less than 5 years.
  • Level 3:
    Nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years.
  • Level 4:
    Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience.
Education and Experience

Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).

Experience: At least 1-2 years as a provider in a relevant practice (Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice) strongly preferred.

Licensing and Certification
  • Active License and DEA, in good standing, verifiable with the appropriate regulatory agency.
  • Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements; DOT certification required for full-time and part-time providers within 120 days of employment.
