Family Nurse Practitioner Overview:
The Provider is responsible for delivering high quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must be able to work in a team-oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting. The Provider must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals.
  • Lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care.
  • Perform duties included on the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situational questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance.
  • Engage with clinical leadership and elevate concerns to management to ensure patient care and resolution.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and HIPAA.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment.
  • Perform queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate on treatment.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.

  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees to the clinic and facilitate introductions and training.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and managers.
  • Perform the physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified on the physical demands.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Additional Requirements and Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers
  • On‑call periodically throughout the year.
  • Prerequisites for on‑call duty include ability to respond to urgent needs.
Qualifications and Experience Levels
  • Level 1:
    New Grad with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner.
  • Level 2:
    Nurse practitioner with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience.
  • Level 3:
    Nurse practitioner with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience.
  • Level 4:
    Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience.
Education
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
Experience
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (e.g., urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER, trauma unit, family medical practice).
Licensing and Certification

License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; if limited by state law, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting the minimum years of practice under state law. Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements. DOT certification is required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained during employment.
