Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 29 but can expand to 33 in times of high census
• Number of Staff – 40
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – (depending on census-typically a charge, 4-5 RNs, 2-3 PCTS)
  • Night Shift – same as above
• Patient Ratios – 5-6:1, in times of critical staffing can push to 7:1
• Type of equipment – computer on wheels, pyxis, vitals monitors, GE telemetry monitors, iPhones and i mobile
• EMR - Cerner

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS
• NIHSS certification

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ACL
  SC
• Familiar with cardiac rhythms

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Very few bedside procedures done on unit. Rarely, thoracentesis
