Looking for qualified Weekend Nursing Unit Manager (RN) to join our team!

Location: Pine View Health and Rehabilitation Center

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for leadership and high-quality resident care to serve as Weekend Nursing Unit Manager. This role requires mentoring staff, ensuring compliance, and impacting patient outcomes.

Major Responsibilities
  • Lead & supervise nursing staff: manage daily staffing needs, ensuring adequate coverage and quality resident care.
  • Staff development & training—assist in ongoing education and ensure all staff are equipped to provide exceptional care.
  • Direct resident care—provide hands‑on nursing care, ensuring residents’ medical needs are met in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Resident assessments—conduct and document comprehensive evaluations upon admission and throughout their stay.
  • Treatment planning & compliance—assist in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans while ensuring adherence to resident rights and facility policies.
  • Recruit & retain nursing talent—play a key role in the hiring and retention of skilled nursing professionals.
  • Conflict resolution & advocacy—address concerns from residents and families, ensuring grievances are handled professionally and effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement—implement new ideas, enhance processes, and support a positive, results‑driven management team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (preferred in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting).
  • At least 1 year of experience in nursing administration.
  • Strong leadership, team‑building, and decision‑making skills.
  • Compassionate and dedicated to providing superior resident care.
  • Ability to work weekends with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Completion of Preceptor Training (or willingness to complete upon hire).
