Job Type: Full Time (Mon-Fri)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing home leadership team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
Major Responsibilities- Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management, clinicians, and other team members.
- Actively participate in the development and achievement of nursing department goals, including staff development functions and educational programming.
- Assist in the implementation and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice consistent with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
- Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff to deliver efficient resident care in accordance with staffing plans and state-mandated requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring an accurate and effective documentation system.
- Provide direct resident care as needed, ensuring effective interaction with residents and families.
- Deliver innovative and responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and processes that improve outcomes.
- Current, active, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least one (1) year of management experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to nursing home operations.
