Registered Nurse (RN) – Covenant Living
We are seeking qualified registered nurses to provide quality care in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. The RN will play a key role in ensuring resident care meets nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants, ensuring high standards of care.
- Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards to maintain quality care.
- Motivate and support LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
- Explain nursing procedures and provide assistance to staff for ongoing understanding and training.
- Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns and needs.
- Observe and evaluate residents’ health, mental and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
- Notify physicians and families of significant changes according to prescribed procedures.
- Work beyond normal hours, on weekends and holidays, and in related temporary positions as required.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
- One year of nursing experience.
- Devotion to nursing standards and principles.
- Strong assessment, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Genuine compassion for senior adults and persons with disabilities.
- Good human‑relations skills and ability to monitor and direct others.
Hourly rate: $29.53 - $41.55, based on qualifications, experience, and location.
