Position Overview

Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse – LPN/LVN

Bogalusa, LA

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday (11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.)

Acuity:
Feeding tube, tracheostomy, ventilator & medication administration (Training Available)

• Deliver compassionate homecare to children and adults in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Assist with feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilator support, and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using tablet-based electronic system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and listen to patients and families to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses transferred to the state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification (hands‑on component). A new hire who is missing this can obtain it through Aveanna after hire.
• TB skin test valid within the last 12 months
• Six months of hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation
