MDB Health Services is hiring a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care to residents of long-term care facilities in the Waynesboro, Mississippi area.

    Up to $120,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to residents in long-term care facilities.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe, monitor, and manage medications.
  • Collaborate with physicians, facility staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Educate and support patients and families regarding health conditions, medications, and care plans.
  • Remain responsive to patient and facility needs while managing time and scheduling effectively.
Required qualifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license valid for practice in Mississippi.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Required credentials beyond state licensure: AANP/ ANCC and DEA license
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with facility staff, residents, and residents’ families.
  • Experience caring for geriatric patients in a long-term care setting.
