Shubuta, MS

We currently have
Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available
, with both day and night shifts. Shift times are flexible, allowing nurses to choose available hours that work best with their schedules.
Location: Shubuta, MS
Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN
Shifts Available: Days & Nights
Scheduling: Flexible self-scheduling - choose the available shifts YOU want to work
Night Shifts - Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN:
Sunday-Thursday: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM
Flexible shift times and multiple scheduling options available
Day Shifts - PRN:
PRN day shifts available with Flexible shift times
ABOUT THE CASEProvide one-on-one skilled nursing care for an
infant pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.
Clinical needs include:
Tracheostomy care and airway management
Ventilator management and respiratory monitoring
G-tube feedings and care
Medication administration
Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring
Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and age-appropriate care
The assigned nurse will provide
one-on-one care throughout the shift
, allowing for focused assessment, intervention, and support of the patient and family.
Private duty nursing gives you the opportunity to step away from the traditional hospital or facility setting and focus on
one patient at a time

Provide individualized, one-on-one pediatric nursing care
Choose available shifts that fit their schedule
Build meaningful relationships with patients and families
Work independently while still having support from an experienced clinical team
RESPONSIBILITIESProvide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care
Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition
Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management
Monitor and manage ventilator support according to the plan of care
Administer G-tube feedings, medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions
Monitor respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Assist with age-appropriate activities of daily living and care
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team
Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs
REQUIREMENTSActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi
Current BLS certification
Current TB screening within the past 12 months
Ability to meet all required
state background screening requirements
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Pediatric, private duty, tracheostomy, or ventilator experience is a plus
