Responsibilities- Monitor pregnant dairy animals regularly for signs of labor and distress
- Assist with the birthing process, ensuring proper handling and support during delivery
- Provide postpartum care, including cleaning, feeding, and administering necessary treatments
- Record detailed observations related to animal health, behavior, and birthing outcomes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the maternity ward to prevent infections
- Administer medications or treatments as prescribed by veterinary staff
- Support feeding routines and ensure proper nutrition for lactating animals
- Collaborate with veterinary professionals to address any complications or emergencies promptly
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and animal welfare regulations
