Location: Durant

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer III to support manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality across all phases of fabrication and production. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, maintaining quality systems, and ensuring products consistently meet established standards and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, hands‑on manufacturing experience, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality activities related to new product launches within assigned departments
  • Plan and conduct inspections, testing, analysis, and validation activities to ensure product quality and compliance
  • Develop, publish, and maintain inspection control plans for applicable components
  • Partner with purchasing teams to address vendor quality concerns, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Perform visual inspections of incoming materials and document nonconformance issues
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to verify parts meet required standards
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis to evaluate process performance and implement improvements
  • Manage and maintain calibration systems for fixtures, tools, and gauges, including establishing appropriate calibration frequencies
  • Document and report findings from quality assurance activities in alignment with company procedures
  • Develop and implement corrective actions and process improvements
  • Communicate quality issues and recommendations clearly across all levels of the organization
  • Provide guidance to inspectors, supervisors, and production team members regarding conformance requirements
  • Support additional quality-related initiatives as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a technical field (such as Electronics Technology or related discipline) with 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of quality experience in manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in GD&T and interpretation of technical drawings
  • Experience applying SPC and other quality tools in a production setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and driven to improve processes
  • Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
