Hitachi - - Responsibilities:
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds on various projects, components, and structures;
Verify that welding procedures and techniques meet specified codes and standards (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, API);
Review weld maps, procedures, and related documentation; maintain detailed inspection reports and records for traceability and audit purposes;
Perform or coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and ultrasonic testing;
Identify, document, and track non-conformances (weld defects) and recommend corrective actions to resolve issues
