An inspector examines buildings, products, or systems to ensure they follow safety laws and rules. They check for flaws, write reports on what they find, and stop unsafe work. Their main job is to keep people safe and make sure work is done the right way.
Core Duties- Check things closely:
Look at sites, parts, or goods to find mistakes or damage. - Follow rules:
Use local and national laws to see if a site or item passes the test. - Write reports:
Make clear notes and write down all problems found during the check. - Stop unsafe work:
Give out warning notices or halt work if rules are broken.
- Building inspectors:
Look at new and old homes or offices to check the walls, pipes, and wires. - Safety inspectors:
Make sure factories and workplaces do not put workers in danger. - Quality control inspectors:
Test manufactured goods to make sure they are not broken before they are sold.
