WhatYou'll Do
As a Stationary Merchandising Manager, you will be at the heart of our product development process. You will be the visionary who coordinates new fabric and leather combinations, ensuring our stationary upholstery line is second to none in style, quality, and value.
- Drive Product Innovation: Research market trends, customer data, and competitor offerings to develop compelling, data-driven recommendations for new product ideas.
- Curate Premier Collections: Constantly review and source new fabrics and leathers from a global network of vendors to merchandise trend-right packages that drive sales and growth.
- Develop Winning Strategies: Collaborate with Design and Merchandising leadership to create and present a clear, intentional product development strategy for the stationary category.
- Be the Expert: Become a go-to analyst for the fashion and furniture industries, providing insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Ensure Flawless Execution: Work cross-functionally with Product Design, Accessories, and Marketing to ensure new developments are perfectly coordinated and all product information is accurate for market launches.
- Travel the World for Inspiration: Participate in domestic and international market trips and trade shows to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Design or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
- 2 years' experience in Interior Design, Required
- 2 years' experience in upholstery or furniture manufacturing, Required
- Proven experience in product merchandising, product development, or category management, preferably within the furniture, textiles, or home décor industry.
- A deep knowledge of and passion for fabrics, leathers, and textiles.
- A strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to present your vision to executive leadership.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A keen eye for style, value, and emerging trends in the home fashion space.
- Flexibility for moderate domestic and international travel and a willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet market deadlines.
