Retail Store Manager

Job Overview

We’re seeking a Store Manager to join our team to lead associates, assist customers, and drive store sales.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of business operations to maximize sales and profitability
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
• Lead, train and develop store associates to foster a culture of growth
• Provide every customer with a positive and enjoyable shopping experience
• Safeguard the company’s assets
• Build strong relationships with the community by actively engaging in outreach and partnerships
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures
• Implement operational and merchandising direction that is communicated from our corporate headquarters

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members (required)
• Excellent communication skills (required)
• Retail management experience (preferred)
• Ability to regularly lift, up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height (required)
• Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting (required)

• Obtaining specialized licenses for stores that sell alcohol and/or tobacco is required; managers may need to provide detailed background information to obtain such licenses.
• Failure to comply with or qualify for these licenses can lead to demotion or separation of employment.
