Job Overview
The Team Beauty Associate drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by providing excellent service, building client relationships, performing product applications, and offering customized recommendations across a variety of beauty brands. This role requires genuine enthusiasm for the beauty and fragrance industry, a competitive drive, and confidence to excel in a fast‑paced commission environment. This is an hourly position.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative in achieving store objectives and personal store key metrics.
- Create memorable store experiences through genuine relationships with team members, vendors, customers, and the community.
- Build customer loyalty by delivering excellent service, providing personalized consultations, utilizing clienteling tools, and offering tailored product advice.
- Execute successful promotions, special events, and customer outreach to maximize performance and drive sales.
- Use selling tools and digital devices to provide customers with a seamless omnichannel experience, speaking confidently about inventory, assortment, and product details.
- Leverage training tools, brand resources, and feedback to continuously improve product knowledge, suggestive selling, artistry skills, and industry trends.
- Encourage repeat client interactions as a knowledgeable and trusted resource.
- Merchandise and replenish products in a timely manner.
- Maintain visual merchandising, signage, and beauty hygiene standards in alignment with vendor and company directives.
- Contribute to a positive store culture by connecting with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating achievements.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in response to changing circumstances.
- Support selling and store operations by assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
- Support store fulfillment and asset protection initiatives, accurately executing omnichannel and operations processes, maintaining product protection standards, and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Dedication to customer service and a drive to achieve store objectives.
- Ability to perform in the role and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Ownership of assigned tasks and contribution to store success.
- Self‑directed and able to work with minimal supervision in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable with technology, including smartphones, tablet computers, and Windows‑based operating systems.
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers.
- Ability to bend, reach, stretch, lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
- Comfortable with and enjoy assisting customers with makeup application and skincare services.
- Must be 16 years old or older.
- Must maintain all required professional licenses and certifications, including any state‑specific demonstrator or cosmetology licenses, as required by applicable state and local regulatory boards.
