Perform general cashiering duties, assist students and faculty, and support day-to-day bookstore operations. Reports to the bookstore manager.

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with cashiering duties.
• Assist students by issuing textbooks, securing required materials, and processing book returns.
• Inspect and repair books as needed.
• Handle telephone and counter sales inquiries.
• Assist with receiving merchandise, including textbooks and instructional materials.
• Assist with inventory by straightening and restocking sales‑floor merchandise.
• Price and display merchandise as directed.
• File student book service receipts.
• Perform other duties assigned by Bookstore Managers.

• High School Diploma or High‑School Equivalency.
• Proficiency in the operation of personal computers.
• Experience working with the public and strong communication skills.
• Cashier experience on a point‑of‑sale system.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.

• Experience in an educational environment.
• Experience with WinPRISM and BANNER Software Systems.
• Experience using serialization, conducting inventory, and utilizing inventory control software.
