Team Member Food Service

Reports to:

Team Leader.

Function:
Promote store sales and growth through quality customer service.

Responsibilities to Customers
  • Greet every customer as they enter the store.
  • Offer to assist the customer while shopping.
  • Suggest additional items for purchase.
  • Thank the customer and invite them to return.
  • Maintain a clean shopping environment.
  • Keep merchandise clean, stocked, and rotated.
  • Be courteous and polite at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable and helpful about the store and the surrounding area.
  • Operate register and equipment efficiently.
  • Keep the customer first in all aspects of the job.
Responsibilities to Co-Workers
  • Consistently complete all shift duties.
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas.
  • Resolve conflicts in a positive, productive manner.
  • Follow policies and procedures at all times.
Responsibilities to Management
  • Properly report all incidents, problems or concerns.
  • Follow proper vendor receiving policies.
  • Follow all loss prevention policies at all times.
  • Follow directions and instructions given by management.
Responsibilities to the Company
  • Keep personnel areas secured.
  • Comply with all laws and ordinances.
  • Wear the proper Sprint Mart uniform while on duty.
  • Attend training classes as scheduled by the Team Leader.
  • Accomplish goals as set forth with the Team Leader.
  • Learn and follow all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities in daily operations
  • Accurately verify age on restricted product sales.
  • Carry out any duties assigned by the Team Leader.
  • Report to the store manager all unsafe or improper practices or conditions.
Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time (8 hours or more).
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Willing to do repetitive work.
  • Dependable.
  • Neat appearance and presentation of self to others.
