Stockers help the store stay in good shape and put out freight. It is their job to help keep up with the product that flows into the store.
Requirements/Responsibilities- It is a stocker’s responsibility help unload the truck when it gets to the store. Whether this is getting in the delivery truck, loading items on U-boats or placing them on isles.
- Help check in items on the invoice.
- Stock items correctly matching the UPC on the shelf tag with the UPC on the product in all departments of the store.
- Make sure that when stocking they are putting the product in line and turned in a way that fits the place on the shelf that the item was tagged.
- Help condition/recover the store after the truck is completed on truck days and any other shift that they work.
- Helping customers that need help transporting their items to their vehicles.
- Helping sweep and mop as needed and helping with the general cleanliness of the store.
