Coast Connect is seeking a motivated and relationship focused Broadband Sales and Marketing Specialist to help expand fiber internet and phones services throughout South Mississippi. This position plays a key role in growing our residential and commercial customer base through direct sales, community engagement, business development, and relationship building.
Job Responsibilities- Drive subscriber growth by developing and executing residential, commercial, and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) sales initiatives within Coast Connect's service area.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers, business owners, property managers, apartment communities, developers, HOAs, realtors, builders, and community organizations to identify and expand broadband opportunities.
- Consult with prospective and existing customers to assess communication needs, present broadband solutions, explain service options and pricing, and facilitate the customer enrollment process.
- Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through installation while supporting customer retention efforts.
- Represent Coast Connect at community events, sponsor ships, business outreach activities, referral programs, and other initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records, track sales activities, and provide updates on market opportunities and performance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a high school diploma is preferred.
- Two years of sales, telecommunications, customer service, or business development experience preferred.
- Knowledge of fiber broadband, telecommunications, or technology services preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn CRM and business software systems.
- Valid driver's license is required.
