VODA Cleaning & Restoration of Greater Memphis is hiring a Business Development Representative to help grow our presence throughout the Greater Memphis and Mid-South market. This is a field-based role for someone who wants to build relationships, develop a territory, and directly contribute to the growth of a growing restoration company.

• You treat your territory like a business you personally own, not simply a job you show up to
• You understand that referral business is built through relationships, trust, consistency, and follow-through
• You are comfortable walking into an insurance office, plumbing company, apartment community, hotel, or property management office and introducing yourself professionally
• You are self-motivated and capable of creating your own schedule and staying productive without someone standing over you
• You are persistent and understand that business development is a long game
• You take pride in representing yourself and VODA professionally in the community
• You understand that following up is just as important as making the initial contact
• You are organized and willing to document your activity, contacts, meetings, and opportunities
• You are comfortable making phone calls, sending emails, conducting in-person visits, and networking
• You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Develop and execute a targeted business development plan for your assigned territory
• Build relationships with insurance agents and insurance offices
• Develop referral partnerships with plumbers and plumbing companies
• Visit apartment communities and property management companies
• Develop relationships with hotels and commercial property managers
• Identify businesses and professionals who can become consistent referral partners
• Make outbound calls and conduct face-to-face business visits
• Schedule meetings with business owners, managers, and decision-makers
• Conduct presentations and lunch-and-learns for potential referral partners
• Deliver VODA marketing materials and explain our services
• Follow up consistently with prospective referral partners
• Maintain an organized database of contacts and opportunities
• Document calls, visits, meetings, leads, and follow-up activity
• Generate qualified leads and referral opportunities for VODA
• Coordinate warm handoffs between referral sources, customers, and the VODA operations team
• Attend networking events and community/business functions when appropriate
• Work closely with VODA ownership and operations to identify opportunities and improve our referral network

Success in this position is not simply measured by the number of business cards you hand out.
